Larimer County Annual 4-H Carnival
We are excited for the 65th Annual 4-H Carnival & Craft Show on Saturday, March 2, 2024! Our club will run 3 booths this year, and we ask that all members participate in this fundraiser. Please review the requirements below to help get our booths ready.
Please sign up for your 2hour shift below. Every member needs to work 1 shift. Please arrive 15min before your shift begins to learn how to run your booth. If possible, the last shift will help clean up.
Annual 4-H Carnival
Saturday, March 2, 2024
Each club member is required to sell 25 carnival tickets (included in your club dues). This is a club fundraiser and we get money back for each ticket our club sells. Tickets are sold for $1 each and can be redeemed at the carnival for game tickets.
We ask that each 4-H Member, including Cloverbuds, work in either of our booths. Shifts are 1.5hours and consist of collecting tickets, handing out prizes and keeping the booth clean and orderly.
Club Carnival Game Booths
Flying Hawaiian Chicken – Fly the chicken into the bucket. 3 members run this booth.
Wheel of Treats – Try your luck at the wheel and you might just walk away with a cake – or soda, cookies, chips, treats or candy. 2 members run this booth.
Each 4-H family is required to bring 1 store bought cake or pie (9″ or larger)
Each 4-H member is required to bring a total of 3 dozen (36 store-bought items) of the following: chips, cookies, donuts, popcorn, fruit snacks, crackers, twinkies, snack cakes etc. items MUST BE individually pre-packaged.
Each 4-H family is required to bring one 12-pack soda (name brand preferably)
Packaged treats and cakes/pies need to be brought in at the beginning of the carnival. You can drop off soda the night before at Carnival Set-up.
Caricatures by Kai – Sit for your hand drawn caricature by our own Kai! Drawings will be completed in about 5-10 minutes, ready to take home.
Gift Baskets for Auction
If you are able to talk with businesses to get gift cards, items or donations, we can create baskets that will be available for the 4-H Carnival Auction.
